1. The light source is faulty. Man-made or natural reasons may cause damage to the light source, resulting in the failure of normal lighting of solar street lights, sometimes switching, flickering, etc. If the user does not understand it, it is best to replace the light source directly. If the user has a little understanding, he can disassemble the lamp housing, find the aluminum plate of the light source, use a multimeter and an adjustable power supply to judge whether the lamp bead is burnt out, damaged, or other circuit problems for further processing. If the circuit is damaged, you can find a way to connect the circuit. If the lamp bead is damaged, you need to replace the lamp bead.

2. The solar module is faulty. When the sun is good during the day and the solar panel is not loaded, use a multimeter to measure its voltage. The general system operating voltage is 12v, which is higher than 12v under normal circumstances. The battery can only be charged when the voltage is higher than 12V. If it is lower than 12V, the battery cannot be charged, indicating that the solar street light system cannot work or the working time is not enough, resulting in the solar street light not working. Maintenance method: Generally, there are two problems, the problem at the lead box of the component, and the problem of the component itself. Let’s talk about it separately. 1. The problem of the component itself: the user should not repair this problem. There are defects in the components when they leave the factory, such as insufficient working voltage, insufficient power, etc. To put it bluntly, they cannot be charged for a day. This is a direct replacement for the new one. 2. Lead box problem: On the premise of confirming that there is no problem with the components, it may be that the wiring in the lead box is loose, or the diode of the lead box is reversed. Handling is also simple, tighten the wiring and subtract the diodes (low power components only).

 

3. The battery part. Battery quality varies. In actual use, it often happens that the power is insufficient and the light goes out. Use a multimeter to test whether the battery voltage is lower than 9V, you can directly confirm that the battery is dead. Maintenance method: If the battery is not used for a long time, you can consider disassembling the machine. Use an external charger to charge the battery once (pay attention to choose a suitable charger). If it still doesn’t work, it is recommended to replace it with a new one directly. This thing is not worth repairing.

 

4. Controller section. The controller is the core part of the solar energy system, which controls the normal operation of the entire solar energy system. Generally, the controller has a fault indicator light, and the user needs to judge the fault according to the controller manual. If this part fails, it can only be replaced directly.
